Heather and her husband are originally from Indiana. They came to Titusville in 1994. By 1997, they were in need of a preschool program, which led them to IRCUMC. Both of their children, Tyler & Madisyn, attended The Kids’ Place. Their experience here was amazing, which led Heather to join The Kids’ Place in its ministry in the spring of 2000. She has her AS Degree in Early Childhood Education and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational & Business Management. Heather loves being a part of a ministry that shares Christ’s love with so many children and families in our community. Her goal as the Executive Director is to provide children with a safe, happy and healthy environment, while surrounded with Christian love, morals and values. She leads her staff encouraging spiritual growth to equip each one to let their light shine for Christ in all they do at The Kids’ Place.
Cindy came to The Kids’ Place in 1997 as a preschool parent. In 1999, she joined our team, dedicated to enriching the lives of the children. She taught preschool for 15 years, toddlers for two years and has been the assistant director in both the Toddlers and School Age programs. In 2013, Cindy received her AS Degree in Early Childhood Education. The joy that Cindy feels by being part of The Kids’ Place Ministry is overwhelming. She believes that incorporating Bible stories and prayer into the children’s daily routines will help plant the seeds for every child to learn and grow in Christ.
Brittany has lived in the Titusville area since the age of 5. She and her daughter, Harper, enjoy Florida’s theme parks as well as the beautiful beaches. Brittany has been a part of The Kids’ Place family since 2012, and she has an Associate of Arts degree, Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, and she has also earned her Director’s Credential. Brittany loves sharing the love of Jesus with the families and staff of The Kids’ Place and making an impact in our community.
Tanya was born and raised in Brevard County. She and her husband, Dan, have lived in the Titusville area since 1997. She has been working in early childhood since 1995 and has a passion for pouring Jesus into children’s hearts. She was drawn to The Kids’ Place in search of quality care for her children in 2001, and has been a valuable asset to our team ever since. Both of her children, Noah and Makenzie, attended all three programs and are now college bound. Tanya has her Director’s Credential, BS degree in Early Childhood Education. She considers it a privilege and honor to help set a solid foundation for children spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially and academically. She is looking forward to continuing her partnership with children and families in this ministry.
