Before & After School Care

Toddler

We provide care for children ages 1 to 3 years. Our children are lovingly nurtured in a warm, homelike atmosphere. Your child’s day will be filled with small group activities and lots of individual attention.

The philosophy of our center is to offer developmentally appropriate activities to children in all areas: social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual. We use hands on activities to promote their independence, we help them make appropriate choices, and aid in building their self-esteem. Through these activities the children will develop skills necessary for successful learning.

Our approach to teaching children is based on learning through play experiences. Our programs use Creative Curriculum to provide a variety of activities in a relaxed and caring environment. Children will be introduced through hand-on activities to art, math, music, physical activities, science, creative drama, language arts, social studies and games. In addition, spiritual development is encouraged through bible stories and prayer.

Preschool

Our approach to teaching children is based on learning through structured play experiences and developing social skills to build a strong foundation for life. We use creative curriculum and incorporate a variety of additional resources, themes and lesson plans that are designed by our teachers. Our programs provide a variety of activities in a relaxed, caring, and loving environment. Children will be introduced through hands-on activities to art, math, cooking, music, physical activities, science, creative drama, language arts, social studies and games. Spiritual development will be nurtured through chapel, bible stories, prayer, praise and worship.

VPK

All TKP VPK teachers hold the State of Florida Childhood Development Associate Credential or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.  TKP teachers are committed to professional development and educational enhancement.  Our staff maintain all state requirements in early literacy and kindergarten readiness qualifications.  Our curriculum is Teaching Strategies and Creative Curriculum and we incorporate bible verses and lessons into our weekly  lesson plans. 

TKP is an approved Florida VPK provider.  All qualifying four- year-old children are eligible to participate in our program.  For more information on how to apply contact the Brevard Early Learning Coalition at 321-637-7241, or on their website.

Before & After School Care

The Kids’ Place School Age Before & After Care/Summer Camp programs provide a variety of opportunities to help each child grow toward their full potential. Our goal is to build character while nurturing spiritual development with guided, age appropriate activities. These activities include organized gymnasium play, homework guidance, daily devotionals and weekly praise and worship songs, game room play including arts and crafts, outdoor play, and big screen movie day. 

We provide transportation to and from several local schools: Apollo, Coquina, Imperial Estates, Sculptor Charter, and South Lake. Our program is year round with care provided on most holidays including spring break and teacher in-service days. We are known for our exciting summer camp and fun field trips.
