While prayer is an important part of any group that meets, these groups specifically focus on intercessory prayer. You are invited share your prayer requests by phone or email. Intercessory Prayer Group: This intercessory prayer group prays over the prayer requests that come in from the weekend services. Confidentiality is honored. They meet at the Chapel in the Office Building from 11 a.m. to noon. Dinah Bryant and Bruce Baker lead the Intercessory Prayer Group.
Women Together is a support group for women who have suffered the loss of a spouse. The women enjoy a time of fellowship, sharing, a devotion, an occasional speaker and food. The group meets the fourth Sunday of each month from 3 to 5 p.m. September to March and 4 to 6 p.m. beginning in April in Wesley Hall, Studio 153. Prayer Shawl Ministry is for those who knit, crochet or would like to learn how. There are two groups: The daytime group meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon in Wesley Hall, Studio 153, and the evening group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Wesley Hall, Studio 153.

The Dementia Alliance Support Group is open for people who are caregivers or related to a loved one or person suffering with progressive Dementia. Talk through challenges, share feelings, needs and concerns, and learn about resources available in the community. Your new role or continuing role brings powerful feelings, parenting questions, legal and financial challenges and sometimes exhaustion. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (GRG) of Brevard currently serves relative caregivers in the Brevard County area. More than 80 percent of the caregivers are grandparents. GRG provides services such as acquiring state funding, legal assistance, advocacy, holiday assistance, newsletter, school supplies, sporting camps and training for grandparents receiving their grandchildren. This meeting is always the first Friday of each month from 9:30 to 11 a.m. beginning on Sept. 3 in the Music Room at Indian River City United Methodist.
